The Rich Sim Art Gallery
Welcome to The Rich Sim Art Gallery at Antelope Valley College. The Rich Sim Art Gallery invites students and the community to explore bold ideas and fresh perspectives through art, design, and visual culture in an inspiring academic environment. We are dedicated to nurturing creativity, sparking dialogue, and expanding cultural awareness—on campus and throughout the high desert region.
Our gallery hosts a dynamic exhibition schedule showcasing international, national, local, faculty, and student artists. We also offer a variety of enriching public programs including hands-on workshops, film screenings, artmaking activities, and special events. Signature exhibitions include the annual AVC Student Art Exhibition, the Friends of the Gallery Exhibition, and the biannual Faculty Exhibition.
The Rich Sim Art Gallery Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 9 am – 9 pm
- Friday: 9 am – 2 pm
The Rich Sim Art Gallery hours may change unexpectedly due to unforeseen circumstances. Please call ahead of time to ensure the gallery is open or to secure an appointment.

The Rich Sim Art Gallery is located in building Cedar Hall (CH), on the North-East side of the Antelope Valley College Lancaster campus. Parking is available for a small fee at marked ticketing sites.
