Annual Palmdale Center Block Party
Antelope Valley College will host the 2026 Palmdale Center Block Party on Thursday, May 7, bringing together students, families, employees, community partners and local organizations for an afternoon of entertainment, engagement and valuable resources.
Held at the AVC Palmdale Center parking lot, the annual family-friendly event will feature a College Information Night, giving students the opportunity to learn about AVC programs and apply to the college on site.
This event will feature live music by AVC's Pop Music Ensemble, Test Flight, along with DJ Luis Abad, an AVC alumnus. Participants will receive a “passport” to guide their experience. Students who visit multiple tables and complete the passport earn complimentary food tickets. The event offers a simple way to explore options while connecting with faculty and staff.
ASO sponsored School Night Bites will also be available, offering a variety of food items for purchase. There will be interactive games and activities for all to enjoy. Community organizations and businesses will also be on site sharing resources and networking opportunities.
The Block Party celebrates more than two decades of Antelope Valley College serving Palmdale and the surrounding communities. Last year's event welcomed more than 800 attendees and continues to grow as a signature community celebration.
Guests will have the opportunity to complete event passports and receive complimentary food tickets.
Admission is FREE.
