My Name is Mrs. Vicki Brown. I have been a preschool teacher for 32 years. I have an AA degree in Early Childhood Education from Santa Monica College and a BA degree in Early Childhood Education from Cal State Northridge. I have been a mentor teacher with AVC for over 15 years and I am a Red Cross CPR Instructor. I have been married for 44 years to my husband John and I have three grown children Michael, Timothy and Sean. I enjoy reading, watching movies and being with my family. Teaching has always been my passion since I was a little girl. Watching young children grow, change and gain a love for learning is the most rewarding experience and the reason I chose to become a teacher. I enjoy helping students and new teachers develop their own style and passion for teaching and being able to see them find their reason for choosing to be a teacher.
