Antelope Valley Community College District uses an outside auction company to sell certain surplus property to the highest responsible bidder. All surplus property is sold "as-is", without any warranties, expressed or implied, and without any representation regarding condition, value, contents, intended purpose, or suitability for use.
Surplus property buyers shall:
Be solely responsible for inspecting all surplus property being purchased to ensure suitability, safety, or purpose for intended use.
Assume the liability for pickup and transportation of surplus property by the requested deadline.
Agree to absolve the District from any and all liability relating to the removal and/or use of the surplus property.
