You don't need to speak English to start. Antelope Valley College invites community members to learn about free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes and get help registering for Fall 2026.

AVC offers free English classes from beginning through advanced levels, including classes for students who speak little or no English. On Thursday, Sept. 24, counselors will be available to help new students choose an appropriate class and register that day.

No appointment is needed. Community members can visit the Lancaster campus or the Palmdale Center in the morning.
