Promise Roberts (Adjunct Instructor, Airframe Manufacturing Technology) has been selected as the 2026 Community College Baccalaureate Association “Outstanding CCB Graduate” featured speaker for their national conference in February. Promise, who works at Northrop Grumman, inspired CCBA’s selection committee with her personal story of determination when she transitioned from a hairdresser to a graduate of the Airframe Manufacturing Technology program as a single mom.

“Promise, huge congratulations on being selected,” said Dr. Maria Clinton-Houck, Interim Dean of the Aerospace, Industrial Arts and Applied Technologies Division. “This recognition is so well-deserved, and I could not be prouder to see your hard work, determination, and remarkable journey celebrated on a national stage. I’m truly excited to see you shine in February.”
