What a wonderful SoCal WCA Conference!
AVC hosted numerous Southern CA colleges, both two-year and four-year institutions, united with the SoCal WCA.
Special thank you to our president, Dr. Zellet; our VP of Equity & Student Achievement, Dr. Farley; our director, Ashley Hawkins; our LC faculty and tutorial specialists; numerous departments who helped, such as facilities, cafeteria, IT, and many more; and last but not least, our LC student workers.
The purpose of the Association is to further the theoretical, pedagogical, and political interests of writing center professionals and to encourage dialogue about writing centers and writing tutoring from all levels of public and private education as stated in our Constitution and Bylaws. SoCalWCA is an affiliate organization of the International Writing Centers Association.
