Steps for enrolling at AVC as an undocumented student:

(Please read all of the information before starting your application.) 

1. Apply Online via CCC Apply  

   1. CCC uses ID.me to verify student's identities during the application process. The following students may not be able to complete the ID.me process and may opt-out

      1. No valid identity documentation from country of origin

      2. No permanent address (housing insecure/homeless)

      3. No internet access or smartphone

      4. Justice involved (incarcerated, foster youth, juvenile detention)

      5. Minors (under the age of 18)

2. Submit your Official High School Transcripts and AB540 to Admissions and Records 

3. Apply for Financial Aid via the CA Dream Act application

4. Complete the Online Orientation (click on the Student Success tab) 

5. Create an Educational Plan at the Counseling Center 

6. Register for Classes using your myAVC account 

7. Pay for Classes and Student Health Services Fees using your myAVC account 

8. Buy Books and Supplies but first check if you're eligible for the Books H.E.L.P. Program 

9. Buy a Parking Permit and an ASO sticker
