Antelope Valley College partnered with Kaiser Permanente Antelope Valley and the Antelope Valley Union High School District to provide Eastside High School Biomedical Science Academy students with immersive, hands-on health care training. Over five sessions in AVC's nursing simulation lab, students worked alongside medical professionals and faculty to practice real-world clinical skills through scenario-based simulations while exploring careers in nursing, EMT, radiology technology and respiratory therapy. The program helps students build confidence, develop practical experience and gain valuable insight into health care career pathways.
