Brick Pathway Archive

Welcome to our dedicated page honoring the Pathway to Knowledge. Since its installation nearly 20 years ago, nearly 400,000 students, employees, and community members have walked this path and viewed the bricks that each tell their own story. Each image below represents a brick from the pathway - a testament to the commitment and support that have shaped our college's landscape for nearly a decade.

Thanks to our generous community, the Measure AV Bond was approved in 2016 and construction has since been underway on the college campus. To make space for the new buildings - some of which have since been completed - the Pathway to Knowledge had to be removed to support infrastructure upgrades. Due to the age and fragile condition of most of the bricks, they were unable to be relocated. However, photos were taken of each brick to honor the history of the pathway and the generosity of each donor.

As you browse through the images below, you may notice the wear and tear on many of the bricks – evidence of the hundreds of thousands footsteps taken over the path. While the pathway may no longer exist in its physical form, its impact and the generosity of our donors will continue to resonate through the halls of our new, state-of-the-art buildings.

Thank you once again for being part of the Pathway to Knowledge and for contributing to our community's rich history. Your contributions have laid the foundation for future generations, and for that, we are forever grateful.

For any questions regarding a specific brick, please call the Foundation Office at (661) 722-6391.
