The Final Dance Showings celebrate the growth, creativity and dedication of AVC dance students. From beginners experiencing the stage for the first time to experienced dancers continuing to develop their artistry, students will share what they have learned throughout the semester through a variety of dance styles.
Each night is a unique show. While both performances share opening and closing numbers and some featured dances, each evening includes different class dances and performances. Audiences attending both nights will see something new.
The tradition began in 2002 in the AVC gym to give dance students, especially beginners, an opportunity to perform their class dances for a live audience. More than two decades later, that tradition continues on the Performing Arts Theatre stage.
Advance ticket purchases are recommended. Tickets will also be available at the Performing Arts Theatre Box Office beginning one hour before each performance.
