Each year, AVC participates in The Great California ShakeOut to build awareness about how to respond during an earthquake.
On Thursday, October 15, all AVC employees and students at all locations are encouraged to “Drop! Cover! Hold On!” beginning at 10:15 am. We invite you to participate in the drill, even if you are not on campus. This two-minute drill is designed to prepare you to seek safety in the event of an earthquake. The drill will end at 10:17 am.
Please note: No evacuation will take place at the conclusion of this drill.
