Planning to transfer to a four-year university? Antelope Valley College's Transfer Wednesdays can help students understand and prepare for the transfer process.

Join AVC on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 12:30-2:30 p.m., the Transfer Center is offering in-person transfer planning sessions, one at the Lancaster campus and one at the Palmdale Center. Register to attend the session nearest to you. The focus of the information session will be on the following:

Transfer Pathways

This session will introduce transfer pathway options and help students understand:

• Major course requirements and sequencing
• Minimum GPA requirements
• General education patterns
• Education planning for transfer

Personal Insight Questions

Applying to a University of California campus? Learn how to approach the Personal Insight Questions (PIQs) included in the UC application.

The session will review tips and guidelines for preparing responses to the four required PIQs.

Sept. 30 is also the final day of the UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) application period, which runs Sept. 1-30.
