Student Services
On-Campus Health Services Available for AVC Students
BACHC Department Team Member

Antelope Valley College students have access to comprehensive medical and mental health care on campus through the Bartz-Altadonna Community Health Center (BACHC).

Located in the Student Health Clinic, BACHC offers a wide range of services to support student wellness, including primary care, vaccinations, reproductive health services, mental health and substance use counseling, STI/STD testing and treatment, screenings, lab work, and health education.

The clinic also provides physical exams, immunizations, TB testing, and required documentation for academic programs such as nursing, EMT, fire technology, and respiratory therapy.

Opportunity Drawing

BACHC is offering a limited-time opportunity drawing to encourage students to prioritize their health. The first 50 enrolled AVC students who schedule an appointment with a health care provider and complete a health screening or evaluation will be entered to win a high-quality backpack or duffle bag. This promotion ends after two weeks or once the first 50 students are enrolled in the opportunity drawing, whichever comes first.

To receive health services, students must be currently enrolled at Antelope Valley College and complete the registration form. Unenrolled students are not eligible for services.

For questions, contact the Student Health Clinic at 661-722-6670, ext. 6670, or email studenthealth@avc.edu.
