Students are invited to explore everything the Antelope Valley College Learning Center has to offer during two Welcome Week events designed to help kick off a successful semester.
The Learning Center will host an Open House on Tuesday, Aug. 18, followed by Gaming with Tutors on Wednesday, Aug. 19, both on the first floor of Sage Hall.
The Learning Center Open House gives students an opportunity to discover the free academic resources, study materials, and support services available throughout the semester. Students can meet Learning Center staff, explore available resources, enjoy refreshments, and learn about tools that can help them succeed in their classes.
The fun continues the following day with Gaming with Tutors, where students can meet Learning Center tutors in a relaxed setting while playing games, enjoying refreshments, and competing for prizes.
Both events are open to all students, and no registration is required.
