Suicide Prevention Awareness and Outreach
September 22nd, 2026 | 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Suicide Prevention Outreach event is designed to increase awareness of available mental health resources, reduce stigma surrounding help-seeking, and educate students on warning signs and support options. Students can engage with Student Health Services and BACHC staff through outreach materials, resource information, conversations, and referrals to available support services.

YOU MATTER.
Suicide Prevention Awareness
Hope • Connection • Support

Stop by for an uplifting mental health activity, leave a message of hope for another student, learn how to support someone who may be struggling, and connect with mental health resources.

For Instagram Stories, we use interactive questions to encourage engagement and connection, such as:

"What helps you through a hard day?"

"Who is someone you can talk to?"

"Send someone a heart emoji if you're thinking about them today."

These activities promote connection, encourage help-seeking, and remind students that support is available both on and off campus.
