Antelope Valley College invites artists from Lancaster, Palmdale and throughout the Antelope Valley to share their work in the annual Friends of the Gallery exhibition at the Rich Sim Gallery.

Open to established and emerging artists, including AVC students and faculty, the exhibit celebrates the community’s creativity while supporting the gallery. Artwork drop-off begins Oct. 27, and the exhibition runs Nov. 2 through Dec. 4. A reception will take place Nov. 12 from 4 to 6 p.m.

How to Participate

Artists must complete and sign a gallery loan agreement and pay a participation fee of $20, or $5 for AVC students. Fees help cover exhibition materials and other gallery expenses. Loan agreement forms will be available at the gallery during artwork drop-off.

Artwork must be delivered to the Rich Sim Gallery during one of these drop-off periods:

• Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 2 to 5 p.m.
• Thursday, Oct. 29, from 2 to 5 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 31, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Faculty are encouraged to share this opportunity with their students.

Participating artists must pick up their work Dec. 4 or 5 from 3 to 6 p.m.
