This Halloween, Basic Needs is spreading a little extra magic by hosting a Costume Drive to support the children of our student parents! We’re collecting new or gently used costumes to help every child celebrate the holiday with confidence and style. 

Join us for our next Equity Speaker Series event featuring Poet Laureate, writer, and performer, Yosimar Reyes. In this interactive workshop, students will explore anecdotes and personal narratives to craft compelling story arcs.

Students, community members, and employers are welcome to the upcoming job fair at Antelope Valley College to connect with hiring companies and explore various career options. 

This panel will explore what it means to live, learn, and work as a Deaf or Hard of Hearing student in a college setting, highlighting both the barriers that persist, and the meaningful contributions those Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals make to our campus community.
